What's inside

Your share alongside competitors

Compare each brand's share of mentions across the same monitored buyer questions.

  • Percentages and mention counts for your brand and tracked competitors.
  • Breakdowns by assistant and question to locate differences.
  • Trends over time to distinguish a sustained change from one result.

Competitors found in your answers

Review brands that appear in responses to your tracked questions, including competitors you have not added yet.

  • Suggestions drawn from collected answers, with evidence to inspect.
  • Accept or reject each suggestion before changing your tracked list.
  • Rejected suggestions stay off your competitor list.

Comparisons by competitor type

Group competitors so you can compare brands that serve similar buyers.

  • Five types: direct, adjacent, incumbent, emerging and substitute.
  • Set or change the type for each competitor.
  • Filter the comparison to review peers separately from larger incumbents.

Pause a competitor and keep its history

Free a tracking slot when a competitor is no longer relevant.

  • Paused competitors do not count against your plan's tracked-brand limit.
  • Existing history remains available within your plan's retention window.
  • Resume tracking later or use the slot for another competitor.

Make the competitive comparison useful

For growth leads and agencies reporting competitive visibility.

  1. Define the comparison

Choose the brands and prompts relevant to your category. A consistent competitor set makes your reporting easier to interpret.

  2. Read shares alongside counts

Check how many mentions sit behind each percentage. A change in share can reflect your competitors moving as well as your own brand.

  3. Investigate the questions behind the difference

Use provider coverage and answer evidence to decide where to focus. Bring the relevant comparison into your next stakeholder update.

Plan availability

Share of voice and competitor tracking are included on every paid plan. Your own brand and its competitors count towards the tracked-brand limit.

Questions and answers

What is share of voice?

It is your share of tracked brand mentions in the selected AI responses. If 30 of 100 tracked mentions name your brand, your share is 30%. The percentage is relative to your monitored questions and competitor set, so read it alongside mention counts.

How many competitors should I track?

Start with the competitors your buyers compare you with. Starter allows five tracked brands in total, including your own, so you can track up to four competitors. Business allows 30 tracked brands, giving you room for a broader comparison.

How does Cleotic find competitors?

Add the competitors you already know. Cleotic also suggests brands found in answers to your tracked questions. Review the supporting answers, then accept or reject each suggestion. Suggestions do not join your tracked list without approval.

How do I compare with a much larger competitor?

Mark the larger brand as an incumbent and use competitor types to compare direct or emerging rivals separately. Keep both views available so you can report on your peer group and the wider category.

Do paused competitors count against my plan?

No. Pausing a competitor frees a tracked-brand slot and stops new tracking for that competitor. Its existing history remains subject to your plan's retention window, and you can resume tracking later.
