Content Studio

Open Content Studio in the brand sidebar to manage content briefs, generated drafts, and CMS deliveries. Most briefs start from a content gap in Opportunities.

The idea

Monitoring tells you where you are missing from AI conversations. Opportunities tells you what to prioritise and why. Content Studio helps you create content for those gaps, send drafts to your CMS, and track publication.

The usual workflow has five steps.

  1. Pick a content gap. Open a Content gap in Opportunities and review its evidence.
  2. Draft with evidence. Create a brief from the opportunity's suggested coverage.
  3. Generate content. Use AI to produce a draft from the brief and the opportunity's evidence.
  4. Send to CMS. Review the draft and send it to a connected WordPress or Contentful destination.
  5. Publish and follow up. Publish in the CMS. Cleotic checks publication and page availability, then the opportunity moves to Watching.

You can also copy Markdown into another editor and mark the brief published manually.

Pipeline

Content Studio lists your briefs. It supports segment filtering, status filtering, generation, regeneration, copy-to-clipboard, published/archived status updates, and deletion. Generated briefs also show the generation provider and quality details when available. Use Send to CMS to create a draft in a connected destination. Deliveries show CMS publication and website availability, and the list shows the latest delivery marker.

A brief created from an opportunity links back to it. Select Opportunity in the brief to return to the evidence. Use New brief to start from any question your customers ask, without an opportunity.

Content Studio settings

Brand-wide Content Studio settings live in Brand settings -> Content Studio. That page lets you:

  • Set the default tone inherited by new briefs unless overridden
  • Create, edit, upload, and delete skills
  • Keep skills either brand-scoped or organisation-wide

Saving a skill does not automatically apply it to new briefs, and the brief editor has no skill picker. Put required instructions in the brief objective and choose a tone. See Skills.

Generation access

Brief creation and editing are available while the workspace is writable, but AI draft generation depends on your plan. When generation is locked or exhausted, the UI shows a lock or quota message instead of running the model.

Content Studio generation uses a monthly allowance, shared with outreach drafts for source gaps. Check Settings -> Plan & Usage for the remaining amount and reset timing.

When the allowance is exhausted, you can still create and edit briefs and maintain skills in a writable workspace. See Plans and usage.

CMS delivery creates a draft. Your team publishes in the CMS, and Cleotic then observes its publication state. Mark Published records progress for a manual publishing workflow. Neither action proves a visibility gap is resolved. See CMS delivery and publication.

Getting started with Content Studio

  1. Start with Opportunities. Open Opportunities and filter by Content gap.
  2. Read the evidence. Check who's winning, what AI says, and where it learns.
  3. Draft with evidence. Create a brief from the opportunity's play.
  4. Tune the brief. Adjust title, content type, objective, and tone before generation.
  5. Generate, review and send. Send a draft to your CMS, publish there, and follow its status in Cleotic. Connect website tracking to collect AI crawler requests and referrals.
